BonPOP - Gardens of Golden Gate Park

This program is included with Admission to the Gardens. Admission is free for San Francisco residents, children ages 4 and under, and those qualifying for the Museums for All program, Gardens members, and Veterans. Photo ID proof is required for the proof of free admission. You may opt pay for admission or show free admission eligibility on site, day of event.
KOHO and Gardens of Golden Gate Park are excited to present the third annual BonPOP Obon festival, a reimagined Obon Odori event that welcomes everyone to experience the rich Japanese tradition of honoring ancestors through dance, song, and rituals. This inclusive event invites people of all religions, ethnicities, and cultural backgrounds to join in the festivities.
